For the second quarter in a row,
UMPG claimed the top spot in Billboard's Publisher U.S. Airplay market
share report encompassing Q3 2008 for the U.S.
UMPG captured a 20.58% share, up from 18.83% during the second quarter.
UMPG was affiliated with 34 songs in the top 100, including the No. 1,
No. 2, and No. 3 tracks for the period: Kid Rock's "All
Summer Long," Chris Brown's "Forever," and Rihanna's
"Take A Bow."

UMPG is proud to have a publishing
interest in a record 135 GRAMMY® nominations, including four out of
five nominees in the prestigious Record of the Year category and four out
of five nominees in the Album of the Year category. UMPG's Ne-Yo
leads the nominations with an interest in 12 nominations (6 for his own
projects and an additional six as a collaborator). UMPG's Coldplay
received seven nominations including Record of the Year, Song of the Year
"Viva La Vida", and Album of the Year. Jazmine Sullivan
received seven nominations including Best New Artist (5 as an
artist/performer and two additional as a collaborator). T-Pain

Chris Brown took home three major awards at the 2008 American
Music Awards with Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist - Pop/Rock
Music, and Favorite Male Artist - Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music. UMPG's Mariah Carey
took home an Honorary Award while Annie Lennox took
home the Award of Merit. Daughtry won
Favorite Band, Duo or Group, Pop or Rock Music. Linkin Park
won Favorite Artist, Alternative Rock Music.

UMPG Nashville is proud to have a
publishing interest in nine of BMI's 56th Annual Country Awards top BMI
country songs from the past year. The BMI Country Awards were held
recently in Nashville.
Multiple honors went to UMPG's David Lee for
"Lucky Man" and "I Need You." UMPG's Ed Hill
also took home multiple honors for "Find Out Who Your Friends

Coldplay was crowned the World's Top-selling Act of 2008 and
Rock Act of the Year at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Their latest album Viva
La Vida or Death and All His Friends topped charts
in the United States, Britain, Japan, Germany, France and elsewhere.
Coldplay's album Viva
la Vida or Death and All His Friends was also
recently crowned the best-selling iTunes album of 2008. Viva la Vida or Death and All
His Friends has sold more than 2 million copies
since its release in June, and has sold more than 500,000 copies
digitally.

UMPG Australia has renewed an
exclusive, world-wide sub-publishing agreement with independent New
Zealand urban company, Dawn Raid Music Publishing.
The deal continues the hugely successful association between the two
companies following a 2004 JV agreement that yielded multiple number one
gold and platinum records across New Zealand, Australia and the United
States. In just four years, signings to the JV have achieved combined

in 4 out of the Top 5 singles on the UK charts, including the No. 1, No.
2, and No. 3 slots. These singles are: No. 1 – Leona Lewis
"Run"; No. 2 – Take That
"Greatest Day"; No. 3 – Britney Spears
"Womanizer"; and No. 5 – The Killers
"Human." UMPG UK also have a publishing interest in 4 out of
the Top 5 albums: No. 1 – Take That – The Circus; No. 2
– The Killers – Day and Age; No. 3
– Leona Lewis – Spirit; and No. 4
– Britney Spears – Circus. It was a record
breaking week on the charts as Leona Lewis'cover of Snow Patrol's
"Run" has become the fastest selling digital single ever. Take

Circus also became the fastest selling album of
the year and the third fastest of all time.

The UK office have signed platinum
selling Irish band The Blizzards. Signed to Universal
Records the band recently won the Best Live Performance award at the
Meteor awards in Dublin.

UMPG Canada took home many of the
top honors at the 19th Annual SOCAN Awards Gala. Rondor's Avril Lavigne
won in the Pop Music category for "Keep Holding On," "When
You're Gone," and "Girlfriend." Tom Cochrane won a Country
Music award for "Life is a Highway" (performed by Rascal
Flatts) for greatest number of performances on domestic radio in 2007.
K-OS won a Urban Music Award for "Sunday Morning" for greatest
number of performances on domestic radio in 2007. "Pop Goes the
World" and "Safety Dance," both written by Ivan Doroschuk
and performed by Men Without Hats, were honored as Socan Classics for
having achieved the 100,000-airplay mark on domestic radio.

UMPG's Gloria Estefan and
her husband, industry legend Emilio Estefan added
two more Latin GRAMMYs to their career highlights for their outstanding
work on Gloria's latest album 90 Millas. Gloria &
Emilio Estefan won Latin Grammys for Best Traditional Tropical Album for
90 Millas and Best Tropical Song for "Pintame de Colores."
Gloria Estefan accepted a lifetime achievement award as the 2008 Latin
Grammy Person of The Year.
UMPG's Café
Tacvba also took home multiple honors for Best
Rock Song for "Esta Vez" and Best Alternative Song for
