With show Saltimbanco the most famous art colony in the world Cirque du Soleil has thrilled more than 9 million people in 75 countries on five continents, and now for the first time croatian audience will be able to enjoy in it.

Cirque du Soleil is coming to Zagreb for five days and from 17th to 21st November at the Arena Zagreb will host six performances.

Saltimbanco is a play inspired by the urban tissue of the metropolis and its colorful inhabitants. Decidedly baroque in its visual expression, play through an eclectic range of characters leads the audience into the world of dreams, unreal and imaginary city where diversity is the foundation of hope.

Saltimbanco, a term derived from the Italian phrase ‘saltar in banco’ – meaning to jump on the bench – explores the experience of urban life in myriad forms: the people of urban areas, their differences and similarities, family and subculture, a flurry of street and height of skyscrapers. The play is to lead the audience to allegorically and acrobatic journey into the heart of the urban world. With an excellent band and the amazing voice of the singer, who soundtracks all counts, the show brings acrobatic nine points, such as twin trapeze, a pyramid made out of people, defying gravity…

Cirque du Soleil described their music as follows: ‘Imagine that you drive through the cosmopolitan jungle and hear all the music of the world in one place. ‘

The performance on Wednesday (17.11.), Thursday (18.11.) and Friday (19.11.) starts at 19 h, on Saturday (20.11.) are two terms – 15 and 19 h, and on Sunday will be held starting at 16 h.
