Kornelije Kovač signs with Aquarius Music Publishing!

Legendary Serbian composer, pianist, producer and arranger, and one of the most popular Yugoslav pop – rock musicians of all time, became a member of Aquarius Music Publishing musical family!

Kornelije Kovač was born in Niš, and the first piece he composed at the age of fourteen. He graduated from the Sarajevo Academy of Music and began his musical career, first in jazz composition BKB, then in Četiri Mladića Ispod Trebevića. After leading various orchestras in Bosnia, he joined the famous group Indexi. In Belgrade he formed Korni Grupa, whose members were Dado Topić and Zdravko Čolić. After group disbanded, Kovač became famous as the creator of the biggest hits of pop and rock music, including the ultimate hit “Ti si mi u krvi”.
For the film scores “Bez“ (1972) and “Snovi, život i smrt Filipa Filipovića“ (1983)  he won the award Zlatna arena. In 1980 he moved to Great Britain where he collaborates with many prominent artists such as Hans Zimmer, Paul Jones, Andy Pask and Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake guitarist ), and the 1989 he went to Spain and cooperated with their well-known singers and musicians.
A few years later Kornelije returns to Belgrade and continues to compose, but with a focus on film, television and instrumental music.
