British rock quartet Palma Violets, two years after the debut album “180”, recently released a new studio album “Danger In The Club”. The album was recorded in Welsh Rockfield studio and produced by the John Leckie (Stone Roses, Radiohead, The Fall).

The songs ” Girl, You Couldn’t Do Much Better On The Beach” and “Hollywood (I Got It)” have the sound of the previous album and primal rock’n’roll, while imaginative texts in ” English Tongue ” and “Coming Over To My Place “showed that – although they all are still in the early 20’s – Palma Violets became the first-class songwriters with unique sound. The album brings 13 new songs, and judging by the published reviews and audience reception band from London, which consists of singer and guitarist Samuel Thomas Fryer, bassist Alexander “Chilli” Jesson, keyboardist Jeffrey Peter Mayhew and drummer William Martin Doyle, is on an excellent path to prove that acclaimed debut was not only the case. They received some serious nominations and awards such as British music magazine NME award for the best new band and single for the song “Best of Friends” (2012).
