In 2018, an important chapter in the work of the band has been opened, the debut album “Smijes zaurlat”. Today, almost two years later, this chapter closes and continues, with the new release of „Kontura“ (Classic Records) with 11 new songs, with which Lika Kolorado continues to draw the outlines of her own (quality) work. The band members are just a little older, but the same: the talented Ana Jelic on bass, also the protagonist of the video “Spasoje”, behind the drums is Pavle Gulic, another talented (and quite busy) musician, guitarist Vanja Sencar, who also showed on this album that he knows how to put into words everything that frontman and author Filip Ridjicki has written and that they are a damn good tandem. Producer Srdjan Sekulovic Skansi, a multiple Porin winner and collaborator of numerous important musicians of this region, in whose studio album was recorded, is a kind of fifth member of the band.

It’s a different sound, broader, more aggressive. The songs are harder and tougher. We have beat machines, a piano, more back vocals, and bizarre foot switches on the outside. The songs are all about growing up, renouncing, accepting, reconciling and escaping, all in their doses, “says Filip Ridjicki about the new album, adding that working with producer Skansi was exceptional and that with his great experience he was a strong support.

When they performed at KSET in Zagreb in 2018 with only one release, they exceeded audience and media expectations. They will again stand in front of an audience in the same venue on April 24th, trying to justify the confidence gained, or as Filip would say: “We plan to reach out to guests, share merch and try not to screw up.” Since some of the tickets have already been sold, we recommend you get your tickets on time.
