The British band Florence and the Machine, led by star Florence Welch, performed independently in Croatia for the first time. The concert in the Arena Pula, which took place as part of the ‘Dance Fever’ tour, was sold out in mid-February.

The evening started with the hit ‘Heaven is Here’. The sequel was followed by equally expected hits like ‘King’, ‘Ship to Wreck’ and ‘Free’, and the peak of enthusiasm in the Arena came with ‘Dogs Days Are Over’.

At one point, the singer even managed to get the entire Arena to put down their cell phones and enjoy the real, sincere and wonderful atmosphere and songs.

Florence was constantly running from one side of the stage to the other, wearing a distinctive white dress with ruffles, which further contributed to her impressive stage presence. Her extraordinary voice, even while running around the stage, does not lose its intonation, and the energy she possesses brings the entire Arena to its feet.

After a thunderous applause from the audience, Florence and the Machine returned for an encore and sang three more songs – ‘Never Let Me Go’, ‘Shake it Out’ and ‘Rabbit Heart’.

Of course, the massive response from the audience almost made Florence Welch cry tears of joy when she sang “Never Let Me Go” with them as the first song of the encore. Florence and her band performed two more songs than usual in Pula.

Well done Florence + The Machine and well done Pula. <3
